At the NAB show in Las Vegas, ATX Networks will be highlighting its VersAtive encoding/transcoding platform for adaptive streaming or traditional encoding/transcoding.
The VersAtive platform is designed to be configured as a standalone device or to work as part of a cluster of VersAtive devices. The platform is designed to support a variety of inputs (IP, HD/SD-SDI, HDMI, component or composite) and to encode (H.264/MPEG-2 SD/HD) or transcode (H.264 to MPEG-2/MPEG-2 to H.264 SD/HD) on a standalone basis or for adaptive bitrate/multiscreen services applications on a live or offline basis. It currently supports PC, mobile/tablet technologies, and TV formats. The unit’s architecture is designed for upgrade to new codecs and can incorporate DRM on an as required basis.
